About Tony Delas

Anthony Delas, J.D., is a member of Business Law Section; Trust and Estates Section of the State Bar of California, California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform, National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, Silicon Valley Association of Intellectual Property Attorneys

Tony holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University Of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from Northwestern California University, He practices law in the Silicon Valley and San Diego. He is admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and is a Registered Patent Attorney, admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the National Association of Patent Practitioners, the Silicon Valley Intellectual Property Law Association, the Intellectual Property Society, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

He has extensive technology and patent prosecution experience in the high-tech industry with clients ranging from start-up companies to Fortune 500 corporations. Tony's areas of practice include patent prosecution in electronics, medical devices, semiconductor devices, process and equipment, computer hardware and software, mechanical arts, wireless communication, information displays and optical systems; as well as product licensing, technology transfer agreements and Trademark practice. Prior to entering the legal profession, Tony held senior engineering management positions in research, development and manufacturing with Hewlett-Packard, General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, and Watkins Johnson Company.

His grandchildren and family are very important to him. As a lawyer, he takes pride in helping people prepare for the future, up to an including end-of-life decisions, while protecting their business and personal assets.
